Yes, that's how I understood him too.  With regard to subjects besides
informatics (understood in a broad sense, including media literacy
with regard to the internet, etc), I just don't agree that it is wise
in situations where you have a real live human being who is competent
and willing and even paid to act as a teacher, to interact with such
"learning programs" instead of interacting with the teacher.

Of course, I don't consider "learning programs" to be particularly
dangerous or harmful, and I will of course not object when a teacher
considers giving out edubuntu CDs and suggesting programs to students.

But when the topic under discussion is to define the purpose of
school informatics infrastructures, then I think of such "learning
programs" primarily as a distraction from the critically important but
also very difficult task of equipping teachers to teach the important
fundamental competencies with regard to computers and the internet.
