I followed the link to http://www.thepiratebay.org/. It says it was 
taken down by the Swedish police on 31.05.06, and gives two links for 
info updates:

<http://piratbyran.blogspot.com/> (where there are already 227 comments 
on the news about the police seizing the servers of ThePirateBay.
