But replying to spam is widely known as being harmful. 
If you reply to spam, the spammer gets the info that the address
is actually read by a human, and thus will get far more spam.
Fortunatly, your reply did not reach the spammer, but the list.
This is pretty annoying, because i will your mail complaining
about spam, but the actual spam was already filtered out.

Please just filter the spam you receive using a kind of filter program.
The two most widely known ones are spamassassin and bogofilter.
Both work with procmail, maildrop and .qmail.
