Hello all,

happy new year to all tohse of you i didn't see since,

regarding the opening up of the archives, I wanted to say that I am in
favor, but that we need to do something to keep robots out (only those that
collect email addresses).

Possible options:

- Require ssl encryption (ie. https://)
- Replace @ by "at", easily doable with mailman
- Protect the respective dirs with .htaccess files (I am prepared to provide
a file listing the "known bad bots")

And ofc, archives of closed mailing lists (For the administration) need to
remain closed.
