Hi Manfred and All

Thank you for your explanations, Manfred. This makes Ms Leuthard's
anointment of the IT-Fitness initiative even more disconcerting.

I didn't have your copyright qualms: in order to illustrate the
problem I had with the page to Dr. Meierhans, who sent me its
<http://www.microsoft.com/switzerland/digitalliteracy/it/main.html>
link, I put a few screenshots on flickr.com: seen with:
- Firefox <http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2262/1585956385_3ad39aab93_m.jpg>
- Safari <http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2361/1586848884_f6567ebf61_m.jpg>
- RealPlayer <http://www.flickr.com/photos/noimedia/1601400405/>
- (and with Opera with javascript and images disabled, which I use to
get a rough idea of what someone using a screen reader like JAWS would
get from a page:

While Safari and RealPlayer seem to probably render the layout of the
page more or less correctly, with Firefox you only see the text, as
with my deliberately limited version of Opera. But the point is not
so much the graphics in the layout as the impossibility to open the
tutorial links at the bottom with these 4 browsers. Have you been able
to fix these links too?

Best

Claude

PS: I also thought of adding a screenshot of the page seen with Amaya,
but it only says:
ÿþ
So I decided it wasn't really worth it.
