Wurde dies schon verschickt? Ich hoffe ich bin mit dem ganzen nicht zu
spaet.

Ich wuerde hier eher "interest group" schreiben. Den Begriff "Lobbying
Group" wuerde ich wenn moeglich vermeiden. Er hat eine sehr negative
Beigeschmack und kann gut und gerne auf Ablehnung stossen. Niemand sagt
direkt, dass er lobbyiert. Vielmehr vertritt er gewisse Interessen...

Wuerde ich positiv formulieren. Ansonsten gibt es so ein "Die sind ja
nur gegen Microsoft"-Touch.

Vorschlag:
The discussion should allow a critical approach towards the use and
development of software and outline the benefits of using open source
software (oder free software).
