It indeed looks like an opportune time to start these projects.

The same problem there as here. Most PCs new or used come with Windows 
on them and everybody knows somebody who has used Windows. There as here 
there are few real Linux experts. Even in HEKS (Swiss charity 
foundation) they are still doing courses using Microsoft programs. So 
one of our main problems is training.

The first step must be for everybody who is interested in Linuxola to 
learn how to use Linux himself or herself. For those of you here in 
Switzerland I'm sure we can arrange courses in Bern and/or Zürich at 
minimal cost.

Please write to the list or to me if you are interested so that we can 
get an idea if this would be appreciated.
